Our Division Bioanalytics & Diagnostics is primarily concerned with analysis and diagnostic systems for personalized medicine and patient monitoring as well as environmental analysis, particularly in the form of pathogen detection, water analysis and nanotoxicology. Our main goal is the miniaturization and automation of complex laboratory procedures and equipment in order to gain access to a wide range of biological data from a sample very quickly and directly on site.
