READYCURE is a healthtech startup founded in 2021 by a multidisciplinary team of medical device experts, led by physician-scientist Professor Won-Kyu Jung. The company develops therapeutic solutions based on low-dose digital X-ray technology that aim to fundamentally alter disease progression in neurodegenerative disorders, including dementia. READYCURE’s dementia-dedicated system, HeLaXON 1X, delivers uniform whole-brain irradiation to induce multiple therapeutic mechanisms such as anti-inflammatory effects, neuroprotection, amyloid-β and tau clearance, and enhanced glymphatic drainage. The system incorporates precise dose control and leakage-shielding designs to ensure a high level of safety. In parallel, READYCURE is accelerating the development of EPATA 1X, which enables long-term, selective opening of the blood–brain barrier (BBB) to enhance drug delivery to the brain, supported by government-funded R&D programs. READYCURE also pursues personalized treatment optimization through AI-based customized protocols, while simultaneously advancing investigator-initiated clinical preparations and global patent and regulatory strategies to build a solid foundation for international expansion. The HeLaXON 1X prototype was completed in August 2025, and in collaboration with a CRO partner, the company aims to initiate confirmatory clinical trials in May 2026. Through global regulatory approvals and market entry, READYCURE seeks to lead innovation in the paradigm of dementia treatment.
