Egyptian Group for Infection Control Devices (EGIC) is an Egyptian manufacturer and service provider established in 2021, building on three decades of technical expertise in sterilization and infection control equipment. The company designs and manufactures steam sterilizers, central sterile supply department equipment, operating room equipment, ventilators, and anesthesia machines for healthcare facilities. EGIC also provides services for safe disposal of hazardous medical waste and sterilization solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company launched its EGSTER brand of locally manufactured steam sterilizers in response to Egypt's Vision 2030 localization initiative, with over 20 units successfully installed in hospitals across Egypt and Africa. All products meet international quality standards, holding ISO 13485:2016 certification and Egyptian Drug Authority licensing. EGIC is registered on Egypt's Unified Procurement Authority supplier list and partners with global manufacturers including BMT Medical Technology.
