In addition, the company manufactures for other medical and industrial companies within the scope of contract manufacturing, in keeping with EKU s philosophy: From the idea to the finished product . Since 1998, EKU-products have been maketed worldwide through its own sales channels or through national and global cooperation with local sales partners. All development and manufacturing take place in-house at the facility in Leiningen. Internal expertise, along with the dedication of the EKU-team, is the key to its success in national and international markets. In May 2024 Messer acquired EKU Elektronik GmbH, strengthening its position as a solutions provider in the pharmaceutical sector. Until now, Messer has focused on the production of nitric oxide (NO) as a medicinal product. Thanks to the acquisition of EKU, the company can now also market dosing devices for NO therapies and expand its distribution channels by leveraging EKU s established network. This strategic move enables Messer to offer comprehensive solutions to the global healthcare market while increasing EKU s visibility and market presence.
