Our company has developed a collagen standalone thin-film fabrication technology that can be separated from standard cell culture vessels. The membrane has high transparency, allowing easy observation of cells during culture. However, collagen thin films are extremely thin, making them difficult to handle when used alone and limiting their ability to maintain structure in culture media. To overcome this limitation, we combined the collagen thin film with a 3D-printed structure, improving handling convenience and enabling the membrane to maintain a stable structure during cell culture in media.
