ALPS South, specialist in liners since 1993. ALPS South is an American company specialized in the production of prosthetic liners since 1993. ALPS has had a global presence for years with offices in 5 countries, a consolidated network of agents and over 260 distributors spread throughout the world. Our experience with polymers began with Dr. Aldo Laghi, founder and president of ALPS South LLC. Dr. Aldo Laghi was one of the first inventors of silicone products and processes associated with liquid silicone during his previous work at General Electric. The first ALPS production facility was opened in 1988 in New York. In 1994 ALPS moved to Florida and began specializing in prosthetics and silicone medical products. ALPS and its partners have worked together for over thirty years with a common objective: to improve the lives of people who use prosthetics by offering the highest quality products. The entire production process, from fabric manufacturing to the production of prosthetic sockets, takes place at our St. Petersburg, Florida facility. Internally internalized production allows us to guarantee maximum quality control at every stage. Our passion for innovation combined with our desire to interpret and even anticipate the needs of prosthetic technicians and users has led us to develop more than 60 patents and more than 40 prosthetic devices, inspired by the slogan that has been the guiding principle of ALPS for over 30 years: Making Lives Better.
