AM for Trading and Importing Co. was established in 1999 as a specialized distributor of medical disposables for the Egyptian healthcare market and surrounding regions. The company has built a comprehensive portfolio of partnerships with leading international manufacturers across multiple continents. AM holds sole distribution agreements with Assut Sutures of Switzerland for sterile surgical sutures and microsurgical knives since 1999, and became the sole agent for Angilogica of Italy in 2000 for sterile surgical meshes. In 2004, the company secured distribution rights for Top Gloves Malaysia non-sterile examination gloves under the Flexi Gloves private brand, expanding to sterile surgical gloves in 2009. More recently, in 2020, AM signed a distribution contract with Romsons India, bringing advanced medical disposables to the Egyptian market, including IV cannulas introduced in 2021. The company serves hospitals and medical facilities throughout Egypt with quality products sourced from international manufacturers meeting global standards.
