We are Humanware , a spin-off company of the Scuola Superiore Sant Anna of Pisa, made up of researchers and engineers with many years experience in the fields of Robotics, Mechatronics and of Virtual Reality. We believe in improving people s quality of life by applying the innovation of robotics to medical therapy. We design and develop medical devices and robots for neurological rehabilitation with the aim of achieving important motor recovery goals for individuals who have been affected by a stroke, head injury or who have undergone surgery. The medical devices and the new robotic technologies offer stimulating, interactive and motivating rehabilitation scenarios for patients, at the same time giving an objective measurement of performance to the rehabilitator, allowing a faster and more effective achievement and retention of the best possible functional levels.
