UMC Multiplex Test (Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma/Chlamydia)

A fully enclosed diagnostic kit with preloaded reagents for detection of sexually transmitted infections using magnetic beads extraction and purification combined with qPCR method. The kit uses cotton swabs and urine samples from genitourinary tract secretion and provides results within 2 hours for extraction, amplification, and analysis with internal control monitoring of PCR processes. It requires no freezer storage or transportation.

This diagnostic kit detects Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Ureaplasma urealyticum using PCR-fluorescence technology. Chlamydia trachomatis can cause disease in the eyes, genital tract, and rectum, and can be transmitted from mothers to babies. Gonorrhea is a major STD caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae infection with short latency and strong infectivity. Ureaplasma urealyticum causes urogenital tract infections and is closely related to female reproductive health, with potential risks including premature delivery, stillbirth, neonatal infection, and infertility. Rapid detection of these pathogens is conducive to epidemic surveillance and development of effective prevention and control measures.
